About Our Thai Food & Lessons
| Our Curry Paste is homemade traditionally using a mortar and pestle. This laborious method of making curry paste grinds the taste out of the herbs releasing more flavour. We cook our food with fresh, local ingredients. We do not use any MSG (monosodium Glutamate) or artificial colourings or flavors in our dishes which are regulary used throughout Thailand and in your local Thai restaurant. It makes a BIG difference cooking from fresh produce, come and taste the difference! |

What to Expect?...
Our cooking courses and lessons are a little different. We usually start by meeting you at the local market or Asian supermarket to show you what to buy, how to choose your food and make traditional Thai dishes in your own home. We will teach you cooking methods unique to Thailand, not usually found in the Western kitchen. You will learn about the ingredients and how fresh produce should be chosen, Thai table manners, how to serve the food and garnish with beautifully carved fruit and veg. With soft background music we offer a welcoming, friendly and very informative experience. |

| Different Courses are available to suit you. We can offer lessons for an individual, private or mixed Group, including or not including the cost of ingredients. For private or small group lessons you can come to our kitchen in Brunswick Square (Maximum of 3 people). For larger groups and sunny days we may venture to the beach and cook seafood or come to your kitchen and have a dinner party. We are very easy going and can arrange sessions to suit you, so please email us with your interest or join our FACEBOOK group and we will let you know about the next available lesson!

Booking Information
Lessons should be booked as far in advance as possible, to avoid disappointment. Your dish choices can be made 3 days in advance of the lesson. Cancellations can be made 3 days in advance of the lesson but a charge may be added for cancellations within 3 days of the booking. We want to avoid a fee so this does depend on other bookings and peak times.
To find out more about Thai food join our FACEBOOK group for updates and read Jiab's articles on Thai Cuisine and Thai Herbs. The recipes have been passed down from our families past generations and gifted to Jiab. She has documented the recipes created by local Thai people. Not the average Thai meal from a restaurant or supermarket. After arriving in the United Kingdom, Jiab found it very difficult to find authentic Thai food, which she missed very much! She found the only way to get good Thai food is to cook your own and now wants to teach everyone the amazing taste and traditions surrounding Thai food. |
