About Me: สวัสดีครับ Sawasdee krub! I am a visiting student at the University of Edinburgh, from the University of Melbourne, Australia. I have a passion for different cultures of the world. I am saying that because what I have been doing in the past few year – trying to explore the world! I also spent a year during high school as an exchange student in Switzerland, lived with a host family and attended high school taught in German. That perhaps, was when I discovered this passion of mine.

Now that I have seen how much my life could change not just from seeing things from different perspectives, but really getting to live IN the embraces of different cultures. It inspires to learn many new languages as I believe it is the key to a culture, to read loads of travel journals, to always seek opportunities to go abroad and to pursue my dreams.

Several languages I have learnt, many different language courses I have joined, several teaching methods, and several kinds of environment I have experienced. I hope to use this opportunity to teach Thai – the key to authentic Thai culture – to my fellow world-traveller or to anyone who interested in our mother tongue and culture. I love to cook, too! So if you’re interested… Well, we’ll talk about it after classes then! Cheers!

Experience and Education: As I am experienced in learning languages, there are a number of factors which affect the teaching and learning quality. In order to deliver a successful language course, I will use my experience, try different methods to teach, find some real life situation where you can practice as we go, any teaching method that suits you best.

Thai Rural Education And Development (TREAD) Programme: Taught and organised the curriculum for English Language for high school students and primary school students in Thailand’s rural area with Australian team members. Encouraged students to become more confident in speaking English and more engaged in activities. Prepared, mentored students for their exams.
